Comparative Enhancement of Mild Steel Weld Mechanical Properties for Better Performance Using COPRAS–ARAS Method

چکیده

Some machine part failures have often occurred in areas of components where the strength was lowest, especially at its weld region. Presence voids weldments or joints greatly reduces quality weldment. To prevent these defects, a proper optimum selection process parameters is highly encouraged to achieve an acceptable mechanical property. The Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method applied determine relative significance each alternative and quantitative utility for alternative. Addition Ratio (ARAS) optimize by utilizing weights generated using COPRAS method. In this study, COPRAS-ARAS which multi-criteria decision making tools improve properties From applying methods, it found that 7, possess input parameters. corresponding ultimate tensile (UTS) 395MPa, absorbed impact (CVN) 250J, Bead height (BH) 1.98mm width (BW) 4.82mm best properties.
